Quality apartments all renovated and/or carefully selected for their mix of Parisien charm, contemporary comfort and style and good value for the money.
All apartment owners refered on www.myparisvisit.com use a management company Paris Visit Services.
There are no agency website fees which are usually between 25% to 30%.
There is just a small processing and administration fee depending on the apartment category, from 20€ to 80€ payable on arrival.
- Studio: 20€, Mini Loft: 30€, One bedroom: 40€, Two bedroom: 60€, Three bedroom: 80€.
- - What are the cost savings by using www.myparisvisit.com ?
- Website agency commission is usually between 25% to 30%.
For example on a one week stay:
- Studio 500€ rent can be 125€ agency commission.
- Three bedroom 1800€ rent can be 450€ agency commission.

- - Can I trust that someone will meet me when I arrive and that they speak English ?
- All the owners' apartments listed on www.myparisvisit.com use Paris Visit Services to ensure that a specialized professional company with English, French and Spanish speakers is directly responsible for your arrival and departure to the apartment. More importantly, the office is located close by for any questions that may arise during your stay.
- - Who are Paris Visit Services ?
- Paris Visit Services is a professional apartment management services company with dedicated, hardworking and friendly employees who process over 100 arrivals and departures per week - over 5000 a year. Since 2006 PVS has been a member of the Paris Chamber of Commerce and of the Franco - British Chamber of Commerce.
Offices are located at 13, rue du Roule 75001 Paris, very close to nearly all the apartments.
- - How can I be sure the apartment will be clean when I arrive ? Is the cleaning for my visit included in the price ?
- Paris Visit Services have their own cleaning service and use bed linen and towels cleaned and pressed by a leading hotel supplier in Paris. Your check-out and linen cleaning are included in the rent.
However, you are responsible for making sure the dishes are cleaned and put away before your departure. The apartment must be emptied of all trash on your departure out of respect for future guests. If this is not done there will be a cleaning surcharge.
- - How do I know if all the equipment advertised on your site is in the apartment and working ?
- The owner of a furnished apartment rental in France has a legal obligation to have the equipment advertised in the apartment and in working order. Equipment can break down, but Paris Visit Services has the owners' permission to arrange for it to be replaced or repaired as quickly as possible
- - How can I see which apartments are available for my dates and the exact price ?
- Complete the "Reservation Search" on the home page including your arrival and departure date and the number people in your party to see a list of all the apartments available during your visit.
If you are just browsing and your dates are flexible, you can check the current month availability on the presentation page for each apartment or scroll over month by month. You may click on "visualize calendar" to see the whole year.
The total price for your stay will be calculated automatically and indicated on the reservation request form.
- - What is included in the price and are there any extra costs ?
- For a stay of up to 3 weeks, the rental price includes:
- Rent.
- Personalized check-in at the apartment during office hours.
- Electricity.
- Hot water and heating.
- Bed linen and towels ( one large towel and one small towel per person).
- Toilet paper and liquid soap.
- High speed internet and TV with an English news channel.
- Personalized check-out and cleaning fee.
For an arrival outside office hours (after 6 pm, Sunday or a holiday) there is a "self check-in" option using a lockbox located next to the office for key pick-up. A personal check-in can be requested outside office hours at a cost of 50 € payable on arrival.
For stays of a month or longer the cost of the electricity is not included.
- - How do I reserve and are there any discounts ?
- A reservation request form must be filled in with all the following information:
- Your arrival and departure date.
- First and last name, address, mobile telephone number and e-mail address.
- Number of adults and number of children.
- Special requests (portable baby bed, for example).
Discounts for last minute reservation are possible if there is a perfect calendar fit and you are flexible on dates.
- - Is there a rental contract ?
- As required by French law you will be asked to sign a "Furnished Apartment Rental Agreement" with standard rental conditions designed to protect both the tenant and owner.
A signed copy must be sent to Paris Visit Services by e-mail or by fax.
- - How can I be sure the apartment I want to reserve is available ?
- The on-line calendar is updated at various times during the day, but it is possible that an apartment has been rented just before receipt of your request. In this case, an alternative apartment, in the same category and location, corresponding to your exact dates will be suggested for your approval.
- - How much time do I have to return the rental contract ?
- You have 48 hours to sign and return the rental contract after the apartment has been reserved for you.
- - When and how do I pay the rent amount ?
- 50 % of the rental amount is due within 7 days of signing the rental contract by simple and secure bank transfer from your bank to the bank of the owner/beneficiary net of all bank charges. You may pay the full rental amount via wire transfer at this time if that is more convenient for you.
The Reservation Tracking number and the apartment name must be noted on the bank transfer document for tracking and confirmation of receipt.
- - How do I confirm that I have sent the rent and that the owner has received it ?
- Please confirm by e-mail to Paris Visit Services that the 50 % rent advance has been made indicating the day that it was sent and by sending a scanned copy of your bank transfer document by e-mail or fax.
Paris Visit Services will acknowledge receiving this information and will inform the owner. When the owner confirms the receipt of the rent advance net of all bank charges this will be confirmed to you by e-mail.
- - Can I cancel my reservation and get a refund of my rental advance ?
- Cancellation notice must be sent 60 working days before tenancy is due to commence by registered letter to: PARIS VISIT SERVICES - 13, rue du Roule 75001 Paris for a full refund of the 50% rent advance. - - What payments are due when I arrive ?
- Before the key exchange and as per your rental contract the following payments are due:
- The rent balance is due in Euros cash or Euro Travellers Cheques.
- Any bank or currency commission charges (incurred by either you or the owner) that may have been deducted from the rent advance payment are payable as the rent is due net of all bank charges.
- The security damages deposit is due on arrival in cash in Euros or equivalent amount in your home currency in cash.
- The administration fee is due in Euros.
- - When is the security damages deposit returned ?
- In accordance with French regulations for owners and tenants in France, there will be a simple "Apartment Condition Form" to sign
The security damages deposit is returned on your check-out. It is your responsibility to indicate to Paris Visit Services any breakages or damages that may be deducted from the security damages deposit. (We know accidents can happen and the odd glass will not be deducted but we need to know to replace them for future guests.)
If something large is damaged during your stay, for example a television, then the security damages deposit will be retained to cover the cost of a replacement and the invoice and any balance owed to you will be returned within 2 months as required by French law.

- - What is the arrival procedure ?
- You must communicate your arrival time when you complete and sign the rental contract indicating the scheduled arrival time, which airport or railway station or if you will be travelling by car.
If your arrival time is not known when you sign the rental contract please send the information to arrival[atte]parisvisitservices[p]com as soon as you know and two weeks before your arrival at the latest.
You must telephone Paris Visit Services, as soon as you clear customs at the airport or arrive at the railway station, and indicate if you will be arriving by taxi, shuttle bus, or RER and metro to arrange the precise meet up time at the apartment or at the PVS office.
If you are travelling by car you should telephone approximately 30 minutes from Paris.
For guests without a mobile telephone and using the airport transfer partner, FirstWay www.firstway.com the driver will telephone on your behalf. Luggage help is included in the special price negotiated by Paris Visit Services!
- - What are the check in and check out times ?
- Check-in is between 1 and 6 pm but an earlier check-in time can be arranged from 9:30 am, depending on the occupancy of the apartment the previous day and the cleaning schedule.
If the apartment is not ready when you arrive in Paris, luggage can be left at the offices of Paris Visit Services during office hours
Check-out time is 9:30 am but a special check-out time may be arranged.
For example, in the case of an early departure, a check-out can be scheduled for the afternoon of the day before.
For afternoon or evening departures, a later check-out time can be arranged depending on the next tenants' arrival or in the case of an arrival on the same day as your departure, luggage can be left at the Paris Visit Services offices during office hours. However, the cleaner must have access from 9:30 am if required on schedule.
If you have a late evening flight and you want to be certain to have the apartment for the full day of your departure it is advised to rent the extra night at the time of your reservation.
Your check-out time will be noted on your arrival and any request to modify the agreed check out time must be made exclusively by e-mail to arrival[atte]parisvisitservices[p]com a minimum of 48 hours in advance.
- - Is there an information book in the apartment with information about the apartment and surrounding area ?
- The Owners Welcome Book is available in each apartment to help you enjoy your stay. This includes apartment building rules, security and safety information, 24 hour pharmacy and doctors, as well as a list of recommended bistro's and restaurants.
With each apartment description on www.myparisvisit.com you can print the apartment Google map with the locations of the nearest supermarkets, grocery stores, pharmacies, bakeries and farmers market.
